Fargo is the most populous city in North Dakota and is overall a very liveable city. The city of Fargo has grown rapidly since the 1980’s and has managed to grow economically at a steady pace. Much of the city’s residential growth has been on the southwest part of town due to geographic constraints in other parts of town. A large part of the city’s identity is wrapped up in North Dakota State University. The college has become a mecca for research and has aided in the recent boost of Fargo’s economy. Bison football has acquired a large sports following and brings in a good amount of tourism to Fargo.
Fargo is situated within the Red River Valley. This valley is known for having some of the richest agricultural land in the world. Because of Fargo’s location being so far from any oceans or mountains, the terrain is relatively flat and susceptible to heavy flooding. In 2009 Fargo experienced a massive flood and since then has taken many precautions to prevent future flooding within the city. Fargo is also not a city for those who fear the winter, this place is known to have some of the coldest winters in the entire United States.
Brent has been in the plumbing industry since May of 1990. He got his start with Northwest Pipe Fittings in Fargo, ND. Brent has held multiple different positions within Northwest Pipe Fittings over the past 26 years. In August of 2016, Brent was promoted to manager of the Fargo location. His motto has always been an open door policy and friendly environment, that strives to make a better world.
